• finish – nyx: cream finish wet n wild: satin, semi-matte
• pigmentation: becomes wet n wild is more matte, it has more pigmentation
• shade: paris is a bit more on the mauve side

I wore one on my upper lip, another on my lower. You can definitely get away with either or.
