NYX matte lipstick in MLS09 Natural | review w/ swatches!
HELLO GUYS!
I had originally fell in love with the NYX matte lipstick, and I still am,
but then I decided to buy a couple more shades.
I actually featured these in a video which you can check out below.
Today I will be focusing on Natural
PACKAGING
Sleek black packaging, with a see-through part.
Risky packaging, if I might say,
because packaging similar to this is quite hard to master.
It often looks cheap and unappealing.
But this one doesn't.
TEXTURE
A silky-smoothe texture,
that glides onto your lips like a dream.
PIGMENTATION
VERY pigmented.
It might even stain your lips after some time.
SCENT
No detectable scent.
FINISH
Matte.
totally matte.
But not drying or anything.
LASTING POWER
Needs reapplying after several hours (around 5)
but lasts a very long time.
SHADE
A nude pink mauve shade
BOTTOM LINE
Even though I like the shade and formula, I don't find myself reaching for this,
it's definitely a nice colour for asian skintones, though.
It reminds me of NYX round lipstick in Thalia, which I don't like,
but I know a lot of people like it.

ReplyDeleteI just bought my first NYX matte lipstick today, & I really like it alot! I was afraid it'd be real dry, but it isn't at all, & glides on like a regular lipstick. They were having a BOGO 1/2 off sale at CVS, & now that I've tried it, I regret not getting 2 of them because I like it so well (the 2nd one I got was one of their regular round lipsticks, & although I love the color, I can't stand the smell, it's very strong, where as the matte doesn't have any smell). I really like this shade you're wearing, I think I may pick it up before the sale's over!
