NYX HD studio grinding blushes [review w/ swatches!!]
HELLO GUYS!!
I have been wanting to do this review since forever.
So this is all about the
NYX HD photogenic studio grinding blushes
in HDGB04 english rose and HDGB08 menage a trois !!

PIGMENTATION
These are not super pigmented.
Actually, they are on the sheer side.
They are buildable though,
so you can definitely build up the shade.
BLENDABILITY
This literally melts into my skin,
so it's super blendable.

SHADES
HDGB04 english rose: a shimmerless sheer barbie pink shade
HDGB08 menage a trois: [aside from the weird -to say the least- name] a gorgeous coral peach that leans on the orange side, with a hint of pink and gorgeous gold glowy shimmer.
PACKAGING
A bit on the bulky side.
Sleek black packaging
Obviously, you have to grind the powder blush to get the product out.
I quite like the whole concept,
pretty cool.
There is also a mirror at the top of the lid once you unscrew it and if you peel off the plastic.
HOW I APPLY IT
I use my Sigma F80 brush to apply this.
I first grind the blush,
I work it against my brush and apply it to the apples of my cheeks.

BOTTOM LINE
I definitely like these quite a lot, and I use them quite frequently,
but I wouldn't recommend them for darker skintones,
due to their sheer consistency,
and also for those who don't like sheer blushes,
I would skip on this one.
Fair skinned ladies, this might be your future HG product.
At $16.50 a piece, these babies are pricey,
so I'd recommend the powder blushes from NYX if you're on a tight budget.
As for being "HD" I did not find any particular difference from this one to other blushes.
On a side note..
I did not take them with me for summer [we live at a beach house during summer]
just because I found these bulkier to carry than the nyx powder blushes.

OMG these are so gorgeous. I kinda like the fact that they are sheer and you can control of how much you want to apply. Both looks lovely on your face :)

Menage a trois looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI really like the pink color, I think I might have to splurge on this! It's a shame I just did a haul of NXY products and completely skipped over this because of the price, now I wish I didn't :(
